Because it seems pretty clear that Firefox is much better software now than it would've been with the old codebase. It <I>might</I> have more marketshare if it hadn't been rewritten, but I'm not convinced of that either, and its marketshare continues to grow. <BR/><BR/>Also, Microsoft claimed that MS SQL 7.0 was a complete rewrite over 6.5 - and it certainly seemed to be - and that was very successful as well.<BR/><BR/>Otherwise, good post!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
